EVERY BODY HEALS THERAPY
You don't need to be fixed.
You need to be understood.
Welcome!
You belong here.
01. you might be in the right place.
You’ve arrived if:
You’re someone who has always felt different and is looking for a place to feel safety, belonging, and understanding.
You're a neurodivergent adult who was diagnosed late — or who is just beginning to wonder.
You’re a parent trying to understand and support your neurodivergent child.
You’re a neurodivergent family navigating a world that wasn't designed with you in mind.
You’re a partnership struggling to navigate fight-or-flight reactions, dysregulation, trauma, or recurring negative cycles that keep you from feeling connected.
You don't have to come in already knowing what you need. You just have to be willing to start.
02. what's different here.
Most therapy approaches treat neurodivergence as a problem to manage. This practice is built on a different belief: that “neurospicy” ways of being (like autism, ADHD, AuDHD, OCD. PTSD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and others) are natural expressions of human variation — not deficits to correct, behaviors to extinguish, or “deficiencies” to be masked.
The goal is never to make you seem more neurotypical. The goal is to help you understand yourself more deeply, move through the world with greater ease, and build the connections that matter to you — on your own terms.
Therapy here is experiential, relational, and grounded in the wisdom of the body and the brain. Growth and development happen through relationship — not despite it.
"You don't need a diagnosis to reach out. You don't need to have the right words. You just need to be here." — Elaine Bredl, LMFT

04. about elaine.
I'm Elaine Bredl, LMFT, Registered Play Therapist, and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. I'm also a neurodivergent parent in a neurocomplex family, which means I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to this work.
I founded Every Body Heals because I believe the mental health system has a lot to learn from the neurodivergent community — about what real support looks like, what healing requires, and what it means to truly belong to yourself.
I see clients in person in Placerville, California, and via telehealth throughout California and Oregon (license transfer pending).
